In reply to <a href="http://www.wordingart.com/2017/10/precious-eggs-miniature-works-of-art/#comment-15447">Mandy</a>.

Hi Mandy, thank you for reading and for your comment! I had a look through my old photos and I think the egg you are referring to with the rabbit etching is a: 'Crystal Egg, Czech Republic, crystal, etchings by Bernstein'.

There's a similar-looking egg in the Liechtenstein National Museum; see the 'Egg-shaped crystal glass with decorative cut decoration and amber etching, Bohemia (Czech Republic)' at this link: https://www.landesmuseum.li/de/medien/ostereierpraesentation-2022-auf-zu-wenn-sich-kuenstlerisch-gestaltete-eier-oeffnen-4YQQMJ1. I hope this helps!

That might be the case most of the time unfortunately, but I find it interesting to look at fashion as exhibits in a similar way to art. Thanks for sharing your opinion!

Old stereotypes unfold; art is reduced to being a prop in a fashion shoot. The exhibition’s goal of closing the gap between fashion and art at the Met is realized, but the difference between the two disciplines is, too often, made glaring.
